Einer der wohl besten Dialoge die je geschrieben wurden.

Das von dir angesprochene, zweifellos legendäre Gespräch von Jack und John war ja auch nicht von ungefähr bei den "Besten Szenen" bei vielen vorne mit dabei, bei mir sogar auf Rang 3. Man könnte es natürlich argwöhnischerweise als überdramatisch oder unrealistisch bezeichnen. Doch bei all den zeitlosen Zitaten, all der komprimierten Charakterwiedergabe der beiden und all der Atmosphäre, die es bietet - passt es einfach. Und was eine Szene bei Lost meiner Meinung nach am meisten veredelt, am größten erscheinen lässt, ist, wenn sie im Laufe der Serie immer mehr an Bedeutung gewinnt. Und ein idealeres Beispiel für dieses Kriterium als diese Unterhaltung über das Schicksal könnte ich mir nicht vorstellen. So viel Foreshadowing wie in diesen paar Minuten Lost gibt es wohl nirgendwoanders. Nicht umsonst ist Lockes denkwürdiges "Do you think we crashed on this place by coincidence?" bei so den S5-Trailern dabei gewesen. Und der letzte Satz der Szene kann gut und gerne als Hinweis auf das Staffel-4-Finale gesehen werden.

Sry, aber ich find den Thread bisschen Schwachsinn.  Einer mit den besten Szenen ist ja noch gerechtfertigt, aber jetzt noch einen mit Zitaten? Kommt dann auch bald einer mit den besten Wanderungen oder Schusswechseln?

Weil dein gesamtes Umfeld auch lostverrückt ist.  und weil du Jacob sehen kannst.

Bei mir wars auch auf Platz 3.  Und ja, ich muss dir zustimmen, realistisch ist der Dialog sicher nicht. Hier wurde genau darauf geachtet was wie geschrieben wurde. Und solche Monologe...

Selbst den mit den Wanderungen empfände ich nicht unbedingt als "Schwachsinn". Und bei Lost auch im Detail nach Ranglisten und Erinnerungswürdigem zu suchen, empfielt sich doch immer.
@Mr. Jacob: All die von dir genannten Zitate sind im Original noch um ein Vielfaches witziger, vor allem das von Kate und Locke aus 2.01.
Ach ja, für heute Abend kündige ich übrigens endlich mal eine Liste an.

@Dan: Was stört dich denn an diesem Thread? Zitatethreads gibts doch in fast jedem Film/Serienforum. Für mich hat er die gleiche Daseinsberechtigung wie die der besten Folge und Szene.
Da sich Lost und der house gerne Zeit mit den Antworten nehmen stell ich mal spontan eine kleine Liste auf.
Gegliedert nach Charakteren:
Locke:
- "Hey... Hey don't you walk away from me! You don't know who you're dealing with! Don't ever tell me what I can't do, ever! This is destiny, this is destiny... This is my destiny! Hey, I'm supposed to do this, dammit! Don't tell me what I can't do!"
- "I have looked into the eye of this island, and what I saw was beautiful."
- "I've done everything you wanted me to do, so WHY did you do this!? WHY?!"
Jack:

Ja, ja, ich hatte gestern Nacht dann irgendwie doch zu viel damit zu tun, in dem anderen Thread Season 4 zu verteidigen.
Hier nun, mit etwas Verspätung, aber wenigstens in einer ordentlichen Reihenfolge :
1. Dialog zwischen Jack und Locke in 1.25 (Boxman hat ihn bereits vollständig zitiert).
2. Jack: If we can't live together - we're gonna die alone.
3. Sayid: Danielle? Danielle? What are you doing here?
Danielle: The others are coming.
4. Eko: Don't mistake coincidence for fate.
5. John: Why do you find it so hard to believe?
Jack: Why do you find it so easy?
John: It’s never been easy.
6. Der Dialog zwischen Jack und Locke in 4.13, wobei ich gerade zu faul bin, ihn zu kopieren.
7. Eko: Yes, John. And I believe the work you have been doing is more important now than ever.
Locke: What work?
Eko: Pushing the button.
Locke: That’s not work. That’s a joke. Rats in a maze with no cheese.
Eko: It is work, John. We are being tested.
Locke: Tested?
Eko: The reason to do it - push the button - is not because we are told to do so in a film.
Locke: Oh - well, then what is the reason, Mr Eko?

Jack: Nothing is going to happen! Some man takes you down there, shows you a movie, and you push a button on, on faith alone? Nothing is going to happen!

Ich habe absichtlich auf die witzigen Zitate bei Lost verzichtet. Dafür könnte ich mal eine eigene Liste machen. Sie mit den hier aufgeführten zu vergleichen, fällt mir doch sehr schwer.

Ja, sry...hab da ein bisschen überreagiert. Klar, gehört so ein Thread zu Lost. Schließlich sind die ganzen Gespräche mit eines der Highlights. Und wo ich schonmal hier bin:
Season 1
Hurley: Shouldn't we do something about the... [glances at Walt] B-O-D-Y-S?
Michael: What are you trying to spell, man? Bodies?
Walt: B-O-D-I-E-S.
Kate: Where did that come from?
Sawyer: Probably bear village - how the hell should I know?
Kate: Not the bear, the gun.
Hurley: You got some... Arzt on you...
Season 2
Jack: What?
John: Does any of this look familiar from when you were coming back?
Sawyer: Oh, yeah. There's my favourite leaf. How could I forget this place?
Sawyer: So, where'd you learn to play cards, Doc?

Ich weiß zwar jetzt spontan nicht in welcher Episode er vorkam , aber der "Mr Ed" Spruch von Sawyer zu Mr Eko (und dessen anschließender Blick) war für mich das Größte ... !
